Rush Lake Trek

Rush Lake is a high altitude lake located near Rush Pari Peak (5,098 m). At over 4,694 meters, Rush is one of the highest alpine lakes in the world. It is located about 15 km north of Miar Peak and Spantik (Golden Peak), which are in the Nagar valley. Rush Lake and Rush Peak can be reached via Nagar and Hopar and via the Hopar Glacier (Bualtar Glacier) and Miar Glacier, which rises from Miar and Phuparash peaks. The trek to Rush Lake provides spectacular views of Spantik, Malubiting, Miar Peak, Phuparash Peak and Ultar Sar.

Itinerary:
Day 01 : Arrival at the airport in Islamabad and transfer to the hotel . Afternoon city tour of Rawalpindi & Islamabad. overnight at hotel.
Day 02 : Drive to Besham via Taxila visit the oldest historical site of Buddhism in the word Overnight at Hotel in Besham.
Day 03 : Drive to Gilgit via Karakoram Highway a breathtaking drive along the River Indus & Gilgit river Overnight at Hotel.
Day 04 : Drive to Hunza later take Jeep to Hopar village across the river Hunza. Overnight in tents.
Day 05 : Trek Hopar/Barpu Giram (5/6 hrs)
Day 06 : Trek Barpu Giram/Gutens (4/6 hrs)
Day 07 : Trek Gutens/Rush Lake (5/6 hrs)
Day 08 : Trek Day free at Rush Lake
Day 09 : Trek Rush Lake/Gutens (3/4 hrs)
Day 10 : Trek Gutens/Hopar (4/5 hrs) Walk down to Hopar and later drive to Hunza by jeeps.Overnight at Hotel
Day 11 : Explore Hunza valley. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 12 : Drive to Gilgit it takes 4 hours, evening to explore the Gilgit city.Overnight at Hotel
Day 13 : Drive to Besham driving on Karakoram Highway. Overnight at Hotel
Day 14 : Drive to Rawalpindi/Islamabad. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 15 : Transfer to airport for your onward flight
